Dave Dein is a pioneer in bringing CDL training to high school students and a passionate advocate for the trucking industry. As co-founder of the Next Generation in Trucking Association and creator of the nation’s first high school CDL program, Dave has dedicated his career to transforming lives through education and empowerment.

Dave’s journey began with a love for driving, which led to a successful career in trucking. After earning his business degree, Dave combined his expertise with a desire to give back, ultimately transitioning into teaching and nonprofit work. His high school CDL program has not only prepared students for careers in logistics but has also instilled leadership and life skills that extend far beyond the industry.

Through his efforts, Dave has been instrumental in addressing the driver shortage by building a pipeline of young, skilled talent. Under his leadership, the Next Generation in Trucking Association has expanded its reach nationwide, helping schools across the country replicate the success of his programs.
